About This Seminar
Having an effective clerk to the governors is the key to having an effective governing body. This seminar provides a thorough introduction to the requirements of the role and will assist clerks in providing an informed and efficient service to their governors and their institution.

Presenter John Perry
John was chair of governors for 6 years. He has been an OfSTED Registered Inspector and has undertaken the ISCA Certificate in FE Governance. He successfully undertook accredited governor training and is clerk to the governors at two colleges.
