About This Seminar
EYFS will be mandatory for children aged 0-5 from September 2008. The aim of EYFS is to enable children to experience a safe, nurturing and supportive environment in which they can flourish. This seminar will consider Learning and Development as one of the four key themes of EYFS.

Presenter Patricia Land
Patricia is an experienced educationalist who has worked in a wide range of education sectors including FE colleges, work based learning providers and awarding bodies in addition to higher education institutions. She has been an inspector in both England and Wales and with a vocational background in health and social care and early years, she has delivered training and support services to a wide range of early years settings.
