There is an expectation within the Education Act, Section 175, that all staff must attend this type of training.
About This Seminar
All staff have a legal obligation to ensure that they attend employer specific training in this area. There are new requirements in law, such as the New Child Protection, The Sexual Offences Act 2005, The Children Act 2004 and other relevant legislation. Staff must understand the Act 'Staying Safe in Education' and the implications for staff and students.

Presenter Martyn Davis
Martyn worked in higher and further education, spending seven years as Head of Student Services. Trained as a behaviour psychologist, and undertakes training in child protection, protection of vulnerable adults and behaviour management across the country.
