About This Seminar
This seminar is designed to provide a practical and pragmatic insight into drugs and alcohol in schools.

These substances are in every level of society and always will be. The task for us is to manage the problem, to educate, to inform, and to support the victims, and their families. The more informed we are the sooner we can identify the early signs and eradicate the problem.

The Benefits of Attending
At the end of the session you will be able to:
  • State the law relating to the consumption, possession and supplying of drugs and alcohol and the penalties both legal and social
  • Identify the different classes of drug and the reason for the classifications
  • Describe the signs of, drug use (including alcohol), dealing and using
  • Explain the disposal of found or confiscated drugs

Presenter Sue Lewis
Sue has run a successful training company in the North West and taught in FE for the past 15 years. Her background is Hospitality and HR Management both in operations and training, and has, using these skills, delivered training in the wider world of education.
