About This Seminar
The role of a governor is becoming more demanding. Governors are leading multimillion pound businesses in a highly competitive environment. The self-assessment, audit and inspection systems are making them more publicly accountable. Any yet, most governors take on the role because they are interested in promoting students' achievement and welfare. This seminar will show governors how they can do both effectively.

Presenter John Perry
John was a chair of governors for 6 years. He has been an OfSTED Registered Inspector and has undertaken the ISCA Certificate in FE Governance. He successfully undertook accredited governor training and is clerk to the governors at two colleges.
