Surviving Stress
This event will be of interest to
Educators and those supervising educators who try day after day to cope with the pressures of balancing work, rest and play.
About this event
The Survival Series is designed to provide a practical and pragmatic insight into topics that concern educators, from teaching assistants and support staff to senior managers and governors. Pressure at work can be good for you but if the experience of pressure gets too much, you may begin to feel the adverse effects of stress. Prolonged experience of stress can impair mental and physical health so we all need to take steps to stress-proof our lives sooner rather then later. Working together and sharing knowledge and experience, the purpose of this seminar is to improve your stress awareness so that you can take positive steps to keep stress at your own comfort level.
The benefits of attending
The intention of this 'Survival' seminar is to offer guidance on how to manage your stress in your workplace. In particular, you will:

- Identify sources of stress
- Identify lifestyle enhancing steps you can take to help you manage the adverse effects of stress
- Have a personal action plan so the benefits of attending can remain a focus
- Improve your well-being!
