About This event
The Government White Papers "Every Child Matters" and "Youth Matters" laid the groundwork for the Children Act, and is providing the drivers for much activity related to children. This event looks at the implications for colleges. How can the outcomes be reflected in improvement planning? What will we need to do to ensure that the outcomes are met? How do we bring colleagues along with us?

Presenter John Connor
John is an educational consultant, author and school inspector for OfSTED. He has been a faculty head in a large inner city comprehensive school and an LEA adviser. He has written textbooks for both French and Spanish. John has been an Examiner for GCSE and is an A2 Spanish Examiner. He is also an Assessor for the Advanced Skills Teacher and Excellent Teacher Scheme for the DfES and a Training Consultant for Asset Languages.
