About This event
This event is designed to give schools detailed guidance on how to complete a high quality self-evaluation form (SEF). Using up to date information from OfSTED and DfES, together with exemplar materials, it aims to give practical advice on how to complete each section of the SEF ensuring accurate judgements and appropriate evidence. It will also consider how to involve heads of department in the process and the role of the SEF in the new light-touch inspection framework.

Presenter Andrew Lagden
Andrew currently works as an OfSTED inspector. In the last six years he has inspected nearly 60 schools. Additionally he works as a consultant in a number of initiatives, including the specialist schools and the advanced skills teacher programmes and delivers high quality management training on behalf of leading education organisations. He is also an NCSL accredited school improvement partner (SIP). Previously, he spent 19 years in the secondary sector, successfully managing new education initiatives.
