Overcoming Dyslexia in Lancashire

CENTRA Dyslexia is a new service for adults and children (aged 8 and over) who have difficulties associated with dyslexia.

We can help you if you have difficulty with:

  • Reading, writing or spelling

  • Ordering and putting things into sequence

First you take our individual assessment to find out:

  • Your reading level

  • Your spelling level

  • Which colours work best for you on a computer screen and on paper

  • Other areas which need support

Then one hour long sessions are tailored to your specific needs and age.

CENTRA Dyslexia is a relaxed, friendly place and you'll feel able to work with our facilitators with confidence. We're here to help, so always let us know if you have any questions or need support. If you prefer to get on by yourself, that's fine too.
