CENTRA Dyslexia Centre is a service for adults and children (aged 8 and over) who have difficulties associated with dyslexia.
We can help you if you have difficulty with reading and/or spelling.
CENTRA Dyslexia Centre is a relaxed, friendly place and you'll feel able to work with our facilitators with confidence. We're here to help, so always let us know if you have any questions or need support. If you prefer to get on by yourself, that's fine too.
Assessments & Sessions
Assessments
First you take our individual assessment – which takes about an hour – to find out:
- Your reading level
- Your spelling level
- Which colours work best for you on a computer screen
- Which starting point on the IDL programme is right for you
After your assessment, you can book a weekly session at the Centre (subject to availability) to use IDL – with support if and when you need it.
Dyslexia Support Sessions
The number of sessions needed depends on individual progress – we monitor progress and re-assess regularly.

Opening Times
We are open weekday afternoons and evenings til 7pm.
Sessions start and finish on the hour.
