3 Days Training AND 3 half day Action Learning Sets to support work based learning and assessment activities

  • Utilise existing skills and foster the acquisition of relevant new skills
  • Improve partnership working between families and the professionals who support them
  • Develop a reflective approach to partnership practice

Who will benefit
Parents and Early Support practitioners, those involved in the supervision of Early Support staff and those working in Integrated Children's Services and Agencies, those supporting children of 0 to 5 years, with disability, their family and their key workers. Those strategically placed to support planning and delivery of ES and Integrated Children's Services.

Where training is delivered
On your own premises. We can also arrange an alternative venue if required, contact us for details and prices. Alternatively, training can be accessed at CENTRA's own training centre in Chorley, at a cost of £897 per participant. Contact Ellen Luetchford for further details

What you need to provide
Agreed equipment to support the Trainer, eg. Laptop and projector. Venue and domestic arrangements, including refreshments for the delegates. Minimum participants of 10 and maximum of 25, are determined by ES National Team Opportunities for monitored and assessed work based learning

What costs are involved
£3500 (as we are a charity VAT is not payable) for up to 25 participants, which includes Approved Training and assessment, all training materials and trainers accommodation, travel & subsistence. The fee does not cover your own venue costs, refreshments & participants' travel costs.
This training meets the criteria for 'Transformation' funding.

What is included
  • 'Quality Assured' and practical Early Support training by approved ES Trainers
  • Opportunity for accreditation by the University of Worcester at Level 5 (Under Graduate Level 2) for 15 CATS Points
  • Delegate packs and learning materials, course administration and evaluation.
  • Meeting arrangers will receive a summary of evaluation results
