Using the Early Support Service Audit Tool

What we seek to achieve:
The course aims to enable participants to:
- Understand the purpose, structure and use of the Early Support Service Audit Tool (SAT)
- Understanding that focus of the Service Audit Tool is on outcomes for families
- Consider how the Service Audit Tool supports service improvement planning
- Consider some of the strengths and barriers in their service, impacting on service improvement
- Understand the importance of parents' views in evaluating services
- Consider what is needed for local implementation
Who will benefit
Early Support practitioners, those involved in the supervision of Early Support staff and those responsible for Integrated Children's Services and Agencies Strategic and operational managers involved in auditing existing provision
Where training is delivered
On your own premises, we can also arrange an alternative venue if required, contact us for details and prices. Alternatively, training can be accessed at CENTRA's own training centre in Chorley, at a cost of £189. Contact Ellen Luetchford for further details
What you need to provide
Agreed equipment to support the Trainer, eg. Laptop and projector. Venue and domestic arrangements, including refreshments for the delegates.
The maximum number of participants is 25.
What costs are involved
£795 for up to 25 participants (as we are a charity VAT is not payable). The fee does not cover your own venue costs, refreshments & participants' travel costs.
This training meets the criteria for 'Transformation' funding.
What is included:
- 'Quality Assured' and practical Early Support training by Approved ES Trainers including trainers accommodation, travel & subsistence
- Delegate packs and learning materials, course administration and evaluation
- Meeting arrangers will receive a summary of evaluation results
