Your .mov format files won't import into Windows Movie Maker because it's not a compatible file format. Windows Movie Maker can import, and work with, the following file formats: Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv What you need to do is convert your .mov file. Might I suggest a free programme such as Format Factory. I've listed the download link below. This programme can convert multiple audio, video, and picture formats. As has already been stated, you do realise that .wma files are audio only, don't you?

2MB is really small for a video, why would you want to compress it? .MSWMM is the project for Window Movie Maker, it's not the actual video. Go to Windows Movie Maker and open your .MSWMM file. Click File and Save Project (I think that's what it's called in Windows XP) or Published (In Vista). Follow the steps in making your video then it should give you a percentage on how much of your video is being published. After it's done, your video should come out in .WMV format (unless you choose a different format.)

The .MSWMM format is the format for a Windows Movie Maker project, not an actual completed movie file. You'll need to complete the project before you can play it in any other program or upload it to Youtube. Here's how to do it: You’ll need to open your Movie file and then go to "File," on the menu in the top left corner of Windows Movie Maker, then click "Publish Movie."
