Question: scince i was 12 ive kept all these documents safe and in perfect condition my mom kicked me out at 12 and ive lived with my dad ever scince she i got them from her to get my passport but when i was 16 i got my licence and she gave me a ride to the dmv but when she saw my documents(i keep them all in a folder) she took them away i argued but i cant use physical force on her or nothing shes my mom i still have to respect her even though shes crazy i gave them up i bothered her for like a month and finaly i needed my social for a job application and she said she didnt have them i was crazy so if i could find them to look watever me and my boyfriend looked for hours through her paper(shes a packrat) and no luck...now she says well maybe i lost them like if it was any random thing she goes crazy if i put a cup on her table without a mat and kicks me out but she acts like my social is **** im 17 and im going to be soon 18 and i need my social to apply for jobs and stuff she lets all her random guy friends she just met into the house im scared one of those random guys took it can i like sue her i mean i bet if they asked her my info she would be stupid enough to be like year she 17 born this day year hour she a retard im pissed!

Apply for replacement cards at the appropriate offices and check your credit report to see if one of the men did take it and use it. Its not the end of the world. People lose those things all the time, especially if they move, my kids lost theirs in a fire in our home.
you need to have a valid visa/greencard. You probably have a greencard if your mother has a greencard. Ask your mother. With your greencard you should be able to get a social security card and then you can get your drivers license and so on. If for whatever reason you can't come up with any paperwork tell your mother that she needs to sort this out for you before you turn 18 or you will move on your own to Canada on the day you are 18.

Even if you could why would you? These things are easily replaced. Go to the county where you were born and get a birth certificate then you can get another social security card and even different number. Get another passport after that and you will not be dependant on anyone for any of this stuff.
A foreigner's master ID is his Green Card. I hope your husband kept his Green Card in a safe place (mine lived their life inside a locked firesafe box inside a locked steel cabinet); if not he'll have to apply for a new Green Card. The cost of losing it is $450 and it takes about 3 to 6 months to get it. He can also apply for a new passport at the nearest consulate of Guatemala. Once he has received his passport, he can make an Infopass appointment at the USCIS, take the receipt for the I-90 (showing that he paid and that this new Green Card is being processed) and get an I-551 stamp in his passport, basically the code for Green Card holder. There's no extra cost for it. With the passport and I-551 stamp, he can get a new SS card and a new driver's license.

Many places now insist upon seeing the card itself since there is so much more identity theft. If you don't have your card you get it from the social security administration. If you go to the office you will get it in about 2 weeks; if you do it via mail it could take about 30 days. You cannot do it online but you can go to ssa.gov for instructions as to what documents they require for you to get a replacement card. Social Security offices are open weekdays 9 to 4 except on Wednesdays when they close at noon. When you get your card DO NOT carry it around with you. It is an important document and should be kept at home in a safe place with other important documents and used only when needed. Perhaps your parents have your card which they would have gotten when you were a baby. BTW, if you are going to use your married name you are going to have to recontact social security to get a card in your married name and they will need to see your driver's license and a certified copy of the marriage certificate.
