MacBook Pro questions! Can anyone help?!?
Question: So I have a project due in a few days and I have it saved on iMovie maker and I want to connect it to a USB. I've connected it to the USB, but whenever I want to play it onto a pc, it makes me delete the whole file. Anyway I can watch the video without it being erased on a pc?

"on a PC" could be "Windows XP" or ?????? For Windows 7.... In iMovie, go to the top menu bar, Share > Export Using QuickTime > Movie to MPEG-4. For older versions of Windows... Install Perian to enable exporting as AVI. Then Share > Export Using QuickTime > Movie to AVI. OK, that's how you get a movie file out of iMovie. The bit about "it makes me delete the whole file" is harder to solve. How does this "it makes me" happen? Does Windows pop up some sort of error message that says "You cannot continue until you delete this file"??? That's never happened to me, and I use Windows quite a lot. I'll bet that if you write down the exact words in the message, it may be different from "Delete that file!"
macbook pros: fast, has a camera, comes with a bunch of cool software, spaced keys for easy typing (so you dont accidentally hit 2 keys at once), really hard to get a virus (you basically have to try to get one to get a virus), not many repairs (ive had mine for just over a year and i only had to get a new hard drive (i ****** it up so it was my fault, i was being stupid and dropped my laptop) macbook cons: only 110 gigs of memory (although you can pay for a hard drive upgrade and get one with alot of memory), only lasts 3-4 years on average (based on my previously owned ibook g4 which is also an apple laptop) pc pros: lasts a long time, compatable with many applications pc cons: can need lots of repairs, gets viruses easily yes, it comes with a warranty and it covers anything that happens to it thats not your fault.
I movie is not for PC, therefore it will delete. If it is a movie project, you cant really do anything. Imovie is not compatible with PC, so if someone has a pc that u know or who is one of ur relatives, use their computer. OR U COULD TEL THE TEACHER TO GET A MAC CUZ MACS RULE THE WORLD!!!! Jk But Imovie is not compatible. Sorry.
There's no issue with Li-Po batteries; while you say one blew up, I've yet to hear of any verified reports of such events, and even if it had happened, that's not an issue with the battery; it's a manufacturing defect, which any product is subject to. They might sell you that battery, but if you install it yourself, you will void your warranty if it's still in effect at the time you do it. You have no knowledge of the internal design of the MacBook Pro, so you are not capable of replacing the battery. Apple or one of their Authorized Service Centers can do that. If you base your decisions on such trivial matters and put faith in idle speculation, you're never going to accomplish anything. Just buy the computer and wait to see what new products are introduced, and when.

I'm using a Macbook Pro. It is fast and high performance. I can connect to the wireless connections easily. There is no yellow bubble on the system tray that bothers you all the time. Also macs are better than PCs. No virus or system errors such as DLL files...etc. If you want you can even run Windows on Macs. Microsoft Office is also not a problem too. You can transfer files easily from a Mac to PC. They are a little bit expensive but it really worth to it. Because both hardware and software includes everything you need like bluetooth or iSight camera or iLife07 softwares which makes you Mac more entertaining.
