Question: I've been downloading files for awhile and always wondered why my windows search never finds them... I recently found out why, windows is blocking my files saying: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." I desperately need a way to unblock large numbers of files without having to click on each and every one of them. The microsoft website has been less than supportive and they want to charge me money just to let me contact them for technical support... Any help please? :( Tried deleting hal.dll but it still has them blocked and search still doesn't function properly or find them. Who's bright idea at Microsoft was it to make it so search can't find downloaded files? . . . Microsoft is just holding the middle finger at me. I have a bunch of files all in the same spot that give me the may be blocked message. They show up on search if I hit the unblock button, but otherwise they don't show up at all.
