Question: What was shared and what did you bring back with you, that you can share with us? We just finished up the gospel of Acts and the last word of this book stood out to me the most. Acts 28:31 Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, UNHINDERED. I know in my own experience as a believer, that I desire for the Lord to have an unhindered way in my heart. That there will be no blockages and things to come in to frustrate the proclaiming of the gospel of the Kingdom and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus. That I will be bold and not timid. This whole book was a recording of the Body of Christ on the earth, it did not only show the acts of the apostles but also the living working moving Body of Christ on the earth, who was connected and ONE with Christ who is the Head. What the Lord began in the gospels was continued in the Book of Acts and today we are also that continuation. This truly touched me. Beautiful post sister ~ I would share my testimony in it's "listener friendly " version (c: I would and DO share my testimony with non Christians and back sliders. GLORY TO GOD! His word never returns void! ~~~ My testimony I have been a Christian my whooole LIFE! Not because I was raised that way by parents... BUT because God took my hand after the VERY FIRST abuse against me.... and told me "Do NOT behave like a victim or the bad guy wins". His promise to "hold me" in His hands... as in "He's GOT the whooole wooorld in HIS hands" was a COMFORT to me. Each night as a child , that I looked out my window and could see the moon, I "knew" that every person on the planet that had eye sight, could see the same MOON.... FOR all of TIME.. maybe they even all left their "eye print" there... I took comfort in knowing that if the MOON belonged to all of us... THEN certainly I WAS included in GOD's LOVE!... Keep in MIND, I was only 5 or 6 and upwards...as I learned after each abuse or trauma...that GOD had HELPED me THROUGH the last "bad day"...and that He had NOT lied to me yet...so I TRUSTED HIM each TIME and did NOT become bitter... I BECAME more DESPERATE to serve THIS GOD that NEVER let me down or beat me. Until almost three years ago I did NOT serve Him publicly... I did NOT know others that "KNEW" God was the same NOW as way back when..like in the Bible... then through a new life trauma (assault the night before I buried my mom)... I CAME to know others that knew His "clues" and "help" were TRUTHS. Thus gaining the confirmation I needed to KNOW I was meant to serve TO the level He had groomed me. ~ HE DOES still perform miracles and show s Himself THROUGH the multiple people that SERVE Him friend. A certain song at the right moment... a book opened to a word that has been on your mind...a topic that GRABS your eye.... ALL God moments which lead us INTO "KNOWING" Him... NOT because we read about Him in a BOOK, like math and science...but because He introduces HIMSELF to us when we wish to "see". Love, deb~
So, you are the 7th child. My sir name suffix is Vll (7th). I have one sister, Lady Margaret Ann. My name is of French origin and am the 7th of my name, but not of 7 children. I am younger than her and wish I had a brother. Not sure if I want him older or he would have my title, but would have liked to have one in any case. I suppose if he was older he would be the 7th and I would be the 8th. My whole name does not fit on my drivers license because the system only recognizes up to the lV (4th). Hallmark Gold Crown stores have these metal "rocks" that have little sayings on them and come in a velvet bag. That would be nice because it is something to hold in the hand, very attractive and they could put it somewhere that they can see it, kinda all the things I'm hoping they find in you. There are only a few references to the Eye of Sauron in the 'Fellowship of the Ring'. Most references to the Eye are found in either 'The Two Towers' or 'Return Of The King'. This week our studies are continuing in 2nd Chronicles. I really needed the encouragement- of God fighting the battles for us- even unto there being much spoils left for the taking, when my enemies are dead! Seriously- my family is going through some unprecedented financial woes- none of it our fault- just part of the falling dominoes of this bad depression. And there is a legal battle we are facing that needs a miracle from God for us. I've been worried so much about it. I got encouraged this past Sunday to just turn it over to God. And expect the miracle.
I can almost guarantee it's because they feel bad for your sister and your niece. They can't exactly make her leave her crappy boyfriend, so they try to be there for her because she's their daughter, and he's not there for her or the baby. One day, she'll wise up and ditch him. She deserves better than that scum. They probably don't say anything to him or her because they don't want to upset your sister. If that happens, your sister may not let them see their granddaughter.
