Can you tell me what's wrong with my 2001 Chevy Impala?
Question: whenever I would turn the ignition off in the past my headlights were on a 30 second delay and my radio would be on a 10 min. delay. (or until a door was opened). well the past 2 weeks I turn the ignition off and open my door, and my radio stays on. and it'll flicker off and on. now my headlights are starting to do it. I haven't driven it at all today and my Radio still comes on and off and my headlights are starting to flicker also. also I can hear a clicking sound in the dashboard fuse box. A guy I work with said it's probably just a Relay. But I wanna be sure. What could my problem be?

Well when you open the door you are effectively sending a signal to the REC module which in turn will shut off power to all accessories. If you are now experiencing a flicker, then most likely that signal is corrupted. I believe there is a switch inside your driver's door that is connected to your driver's door lock that signals to the REC module when the inside handle is operated. If this switch does not function correctly then you may experience what is happening now .
The wheel bearing usually would not squeak if it is worn out. They usually make a rotational roar or hum depending on the speed of the vehicle. If they are really bad, you might experience a vibration. These are a pretty tough bearing and unit and have seen lots of them replaced uneccesarily because of improper diagnosis. Best thing to do to diagnose the problem is jack the car up in the area that you think is making the noise. First, try to see if the bearing has play in it which it should have none or very little in it. Do this by grabbing the tire and pulling back and forth. If there is none, rotate the wheel to see if you can feel roughness or hear a squeal. If you hear a squeal, remove the tire and inspect the brakes for being worn out or for something trapped between the rotor, splash guard, or the caliper. Good luck.
