How to thread the bobbin on a brother ls2125i sewing machine?
Question: i have a bobbin and thread and everything. i figured out how to thread it before (my friend borrowed the machine and lost my directions) and know i just cant remember. if you could do step by step directions that would be great!

a: Pull up the spool pin as far as possible, and then put a spool of thread on this pin. b: Pass the thread around the pre-tension disk (chrome knob on the top left of the machine). c: Pass the end of the thread through the hole on the bobbin from the inside of the bobbin. Leave about 4" to hold onto as the winding begins. d: Put the bobbin onto the bobbin winder shaft and slide the bobbin winder shaft to the right. Turn the bobbin clockwise, by hand, until the spring on the shaft slides into the groove of the bobbin. e: Hold onto the thread end and press the power pedal. Let go of the thead when it is twisted so tight you can not hold it with your fingers. Yes... machines are different. You need to look in your owners manual. If you dont have one go to their website. Maybe you can find something there. If you know any neighbors ask if they sew. Even if they dont have the same machine they could probably figure it out. m
It's possible that the thread is slipping out of the little slot in the bobbin case. When you load the bobbin into the case, make sure it's facing the direction the manual tells you, and that you pull the thread tail down into the little slot in the side of the case all the way, and give a little tug to make sure the bobbin rolls smoothly. Then make sure the bobbin case fits into the machine with a little snap or click. This is the same for all machines. .

I'm a sewing machine tech. Always remember TNT. Threading, Needle and Tension. Eventually you will figure out the problem. You might look to see if you put the bobbin in so its turning the right way. Another possibility is that you might have jammed it and had the needle hit the hook. (the part that catches the loop when the needle goes up.) Check everywhere that the thread touches and see if you can feel a burr. If the needle hit the hook and there is a burr you will feel it with your fingernail. You can't always see these burrs by eye. What happens is the thread can catch on a burr and foul everything up. Then you have to use some fine emery paper to file down the burr smooth. Just turn the handle slow by hand with the door open when first picking up the bobbin thread. Watch every where the thread runs across then feel with your fingernail those places. Good luck to you.
