Question: [please serious posts only] Been diagnosed with social anxiety by 2 psychiatrists and self-diagnosed with atypical depression. I haven't worked in a 9 to 5 job for 2 years. I live with my parents at the age of 35. I spend my days on the net and occasionally answering service calls for PC repair. I can't afford rent as my business barely pays for my mobile phone and my small living expenses. I don't actively socialise since I have nothing to offer and mostly feel embarrassed about my situation. I've tried on two occasion to go to group therapy and quit both times as it felt very uncomfortable and literally pointless. I've tried Prozac in the past and it did seem to work but every single time I took the pills, it reminded me I wasn't normal and made me hate them. When I meet a girl, I even start to judge her, saying to my self, she must so desperate to be interested in someone like me. My life is downright unsatisfying. What do you suggest?
