My laptop download speed as been extremely slow lately. A little help?
Question: Well basically my laptop's download speed is at about 1400 kbps and my upload speed is 1400 kbps. Every other computer in my house including my other laptop has a download speed of about 6000 kbps and upload of around 1300-1400 kbps. I have tried so many things on how to fix the speed of this laptop. I have no virus detected currently on avast and no spyware either that I am aware of. Here is what this laptop is currently using. Windows XP Service Pack 2, Intel Core2 Duo 1.8 Ghz processor, 1 gigabyte of Ram and a NVIDIA Geforce Go 7400 Graphics card. A little help anyone?

You may have gone over your download quota if you download too much within the month, your internet will be downgraded the more you download that's most likely what you're experiencing try catching up with your internet provider how many gb of downloads you have a month.
