Question: I'm on Windows 7, I'm doing a full scan on the C drive, I did not check the other drives yet, but the scan is still running, and it's at 185,000 objects scan, and so far has only found 6 objects infected. I will remove those, but is my computer pretty healthy? I wanted this program because a contact of mine on my yahoo email is getting spam sent to her email from me, which I did not send to her. One was a viagra advertisement and another ad about facial cream. This is actually a lady friend of my dad, who I have as an email contact, and she keeps telling me about the fake emails she is getting. A buddy of mine says I might have been phished and for me to get smith fraud and AVG? I've used AVG in the past, and I've removed a couple of viruses recently after the spamming incident. I decided to get Malwarebytes and than I'm going to download something like Ad-Aware. I changed my password on my e-mail too. You think I will be fully protected after all of this, so no more spam or phishing will occur out of that yahoo mail account. I might even add SUPERAntiSpyware plus I might switch from AVG to Avast. This is just a personal computer I have, and I've been lazy not keeping with virus protection like on my old computers I did. I don't download fun programs or music like I used to on this newer computer I have.
