Question: I have about 30 Motherboards each with their own CPU. I have one hard drive that already has Windows XP installed with a legit license key. The hard drive is working and installed XP using one of the motherboards. What I want to do is test all the motherboards (to see if they work and boot into windows) using the same Hard drive, PSU and RAM. Problem is, most motherboards keeps looping the BIOS every time I start the machine up without going into Windows. I am suspecting the Operating System won't boot up on different hardware. Is this true? Do I need to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows for every motherboard? The same PSU and RAM are known working hardware.
