Question: I need to to a fresh install of Windows Vista and my computer cannot boot from the Windows CD (i dont know why) so I am trying this method. Will my BIOS be gone? Because I need it to boot from the CD. If yes,how can I install it on my drive? I am trying to make a bootable USB to install Windows Vista but if it still cannot boot up from the USB, I will use this method. Or can you suggest another way other than the USB and CD to do a clean install of Windows? By the way, I tried to install Windows Vista on XP and it restarted and took me to the blue screen of death so I cannot really access anything except for the BIOS that's why I am left with only two choices. Please help. Thanks!
