Apart from the wonderful progress in spelling and reading, our daughter’s confidence has been boosted, which is plain for everyone to see. She is a lot happier at school and this has been reflected in her most recent school report in which every teacher has given the her top mark for ‘effort’ – we can’t ask anymore than that....a parent from Surrey
IDL Dyslexia Centres provide services for adults and children who have difficulties associated with dyslexia.
CENTRA is a not–for-profit charity - which was founded in 1839. We provide products and services that help people overcome reading and spelling difficulties.
We use a system called IDL (Indirect Dyslexia Learning) which is used in all IDL Centres.

CENTRA is delighted to announce that we have secured a Big Lottery "Reaching Communities" bid. The "Lifting Barriers" project allows us to provide highly effective dyslexia support sessions to adults and children living in the boroughs of Preston, Blackpool and South Ribble, funded by the Big Lottery.
